HP and Omnifone launch MusicStation for unlimited musicThe World's biggest computer manufacturer, Hewlett-Packard (HP) has entered into an agreement with Omnifone to offer digital music content on some new models of HP sold in Europe.

The companies will launch MusicStation providing users access to 6.5 million tracks from record companies like Universal, Sony, EMI and Warner and also independent labels.

The service will offer a free 14-day trial period and after which a small monthly subscription will be charged. The subscription will allow users to download, playback and even transfer tracks to other devices.

MusicStation service provides 10 DRM-free MP3 file format tracks each month. The service will be launched in 10 European countries including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The service will come with a monthly charge of 8.99 GBP in the UK, 14.95 CHF in Switzerland, 99 SEK in Sweden while in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Spain the service will cost 9.99 EUR.
