Looking confident, Katanec expressed satisfaction over the preparation of team for the crucial home tie against Malaysia in the third round of the cup. Addressing a news conference, he added, "We have prepared well. All the players are in good condition and ready to deliver the goods." He said that like any other coach in the rest of the world, he also has expectations from the team he prepares. But some factors, Katanec said, are crucial for the success of any team and his team is ready to face any odd. He said that players are always asked to enjoy the game and all of them are doing wonderful job due to their hard practice. Regarding the fitness of some players, he said, "Faisal Khalil is away right from the beginning of the season and Ismail Matar has just returned to the pitch and needs more time to recapture his form."
