Motorola Droid Razr: the longest lasting 4G smartphone

Motorola Droid Razr: the longest lasting 4G smartphoneIn an attempt to solve one of the key – battery life-related - issues with the 4G LTE handsets, Motorola Mobility has gone all out to ensure that its amazing Droid Razr smartphone turns out to be the longest lasting 4G smartphone currently available in the market.

That the Android-based Droid Razr handset from Motorola Mobility will apparently change the perception that LTE handsets are power-guzzlers is evident from the results of the LAPTOP Battery test, which showed that the 3,300 mAH battery of the ultra-thin Droid Razr can last a whole 8 hours and 25 minutes.

The results about the astounding battery life of the Droid Razr are all the more impressive in the wake of the fact that the mentioned test involved continuous 4G web-browsing, with the brightness of the handset set to 40 percent.

With no other handset on the 4G LTE network from AT&T coming anywhere near the Droid Razr in terms of battery life, it is clear that the handset is not only the longest lasting 4G phone on the Verizon network, but is also apparently the longest lasting LTE handset to ever be tested with its default battery.

Among the Droid Razr rivals in terms of battery life, the Samsung Skyrocket S II lasted 5 hours and 42 minutes; while the others – including the HTC Vivid, the LG Nitro HD, and the Pantech Burst - lasted less than four-and-a-half hours!
