President, PM Sends Congratulatory Notes to China on China’s 62nd National DayChina’s 62nd National Day is big celebration time for entire country and on the big day, President Mr. Tony Tan Keng Yam and Prime Minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong have sent congratulatory messages to President Mr. Hu Jintao and Premier Mr. Wen Jiabao of the People's Republic of China.

In the congratulatory notes, President Tan has also praised the efforts and the hard work that President Hu put during his time in office to develop China into a world class economy and to make it known as one of the very vital global players. He also wrote that he had full confident on Hu and his leadership techniques to grow China big in regard to positive trajectory.

President Tan also talked in his letter about the excellent and flourishing relations that China is sharing with Singapore today. He praised the ties between both the countries, by saying that: "it is underpinned not just by frequent high-level exchanges between leaders and robust economic collaboration, but also by intense interactions and a strong affinity between the peoples of both countries".

Other congratulatory letter from PM Lee to Premier Wen stated PM Lee’s compliments that he gave to China for making such a big progress and achievements. Also, he stated in the letter about Wen's leadership and his workmanship that contributed big to make China prosper.
