CAG Report Indicates Increased Passenger Traffic in August A recent report by the Changi Airport Group (CAG) has reaffirmed the power of Changi Airport in managing high traffic, as it has been confirmed that it managed to deal with nearly 3.86 million more people in the month of August.

Following the same trend, a 12% growth was seen in traffic between Singapore and Tokyo, while Japan managed to handle as much as 14.4% in the second month in a row.

Even the report made it clear that the traffic went as high as 14.9% during the same month last year, while it experienced a jump of 11.2% this year.

The movement between Northeast and Southeast Asia made sure Changi Airport handled the excessive demand to the utmost perfection, while it got maximum applaud for its results in Bangkok, Denpasar (Bali), Hong Kong, Manila and Tokyo, where double digit growth made surmounting profits for the CAG.

Even Low cost carriers (LCCs) had their share, as they experienced growth of 26.3% in passengers as compared to the last year statistics. However the full service carriers managed to get mere 6.8% passenger traffic this year.
