Singapore Stocks Ended FlatOn Wednesday, it was reported that the stocks in Singapore have ended flat after a volatile session and concerns over the slowdown of stocks in the US and Europe. It was found out that

The Straits Times Index has decreased by 0.15% or 4.20 points and closed at 2,828.53 while Singapore Airlines has decreased by 0.81% to S$11.06 whereas CapitaLand has increased by 0.79% to S$2.54 and Neptune Orient Lines was decreased by 0.9% and ended at S$1.12.

The Global Logistic Properties has fallen by 2.0% to S$1.685; Sembcorp Marine has declined to 0.5 per cent to S$4.18, whereas Keppel Corp remained same and closed at S$9.22. The Golden Agri-Resources has increased by 5.5% to S$0.67, Olam International has risen by 2.5% to S$2.45 while Wilmar has climbed by 0.2% at S$5.14 whereas Noble Group has decreased by 0.7% to S$1.44.

It was noticed that after appointing Tan Kian Seng as president, the Venture Corp. (VMS SP), which is Singapore's biggest publicly traded electronics-manufacturing services provider has raised by 1.4% to S$7.34.

The Singapore's Straits Times Index has fallen by 0.2% to 2,828.53 at the close and around seven stocks has fallen for every five that has increased in the index of 30 companies.
