BMW Registers Second Quarter Profit by DoubleGerman car maker- BMW AG owed its second quarter net profit to the China, as there is tremendous increase in the sales of its 5-series sedan and X-3 sport luxury models in the country. The total profit that Munich based company has witnessed is euro1.81 billion ($2.5 billion).

Sales in China for BMW cars have risen by 52%, which has led to increase in the revenue by 16.5%.When the record of sales was considered in the three countries, US, Germany, and China. It was revealed that BMW sold 63,300 cars in China during the quarter, 80,300 at home in Germany, and there was increase in the sales in US as well.

Max Warburton, auto analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein told that the results are so amazing that company would think that they are on the top. And, he finds that for a company the second quarter is vital to retain its position in left months of the year.

To talk about its position on the stock, then BMW shares has increased by 2% amounting to euro69.07, which according to analysts are cheap at the current level. There is no doubt that BMW has earned good profit, but according to its officials, the profits would not be that great, if compared to last year’s growth. There are many detrimental factors for that like global risks, debt troubles in many countries, and higher interest rates around the globe.
