Yesterday the United Nations (UN) has started a new round of climate change talks in Bonn, Germany along with the growing sense of exigency on climate change.
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations has been started from yesterday 6th June and will continue till 17th June. In its opening day UNFCCC executive secretary Christiana Figueres has said that the negotiators are trying their best on a plan to reduce global emissions rapid enough. They are working hard to avoid the worst climate change.
She has stated that the Governments have a very ambitious outline, which includes all the procedural to the political way in it. They are having high anticipations from themselves and their partners.
They have expecting a decisive willingness to appear of Bonn with significant progress. The significant progress refers to the making of an international plan for reducing the rising world’s carbon emissions. They have planned to have a global average temperature rise to two degrees Celsius. This was a target which was assured at last year’s UN climate talks in Mexico’s Cancun.
