Around 20 years back, the pager used to be the sole mobile communication instrument.
However, very soon the pager got replaced by flask-size mobile phones which today are considered antiques by many, being replaced by the widest range of smart phones. And as goes the current status, none of these new and smart gadgets ever let us lose connection with the rest of the world, making sure we’re always online.
Today, almost all cellular phones have a default function of social networks the likes of Facebook and Twitter. In fact, a lot of people have done away with their old feature phone and got a smart one instead since they desire a mobile internet connection, while many purchase the gadget only for using the various social networks.
It is not a surprise that the user-base of Facebook in Thailand has soared up to 9.2 million, making up for over half the online population, and they have brought up the number of smart phones used as well.
However, the downside is that Facebook might be a reason for lost productivity for several organisations if their staff starts spending way too much time on the site.
