DMK MP Kanimozhi, a director in Kalaignar TV has been again named in the supplementary chargesheet of the 2G scam on Monday. CBI has questioned her about one and half months ago but now CBI again dragged her name in the chargesheet.

CBI believes that she is having 20% stake in a TV channel which received Rs 200 crore as bribe on A Raja’s behalf. CBI is also tracking the entire money transfers from Shahid Balwa's Swan Telecom to Kalaignar TV. As per sources, the money was routed by Balwa to Kalaignar through Kusegaon fruits n vegetables and Cineyug private limited.

A Raja’s supporter Sadiq Batcha is also expected to be named in chargesheet because his green house promoter was a front company to route A Raja's bribe money.

Chargesheet also includes names like Asif Balwa, Balwa’s brother and Rajeev Agarwal of Kusegaon for criminal conspiracy and cheating. Other names which are likely to be charges are Karunanidhi's wife and a 60% stake holder in Kalaignar Dayalu Ammal and Sharad Kumar, the CEO of the channel.

When CBI questioned Kanimozhi, DMK had withdrawn its support from the UPA but then peace formula was worked out. But now as CBI has charged Tamilnadu’s first family with criminal conspiracy, what will Karunanidhi do with election results pending.
