Superbus which was planned few months ago is on trial in Abu Dhabi in the recent times. The Superbus is electric-powered based bus. It can carry 23 passengers with speeds of up to 250km per hour. In recent time the tests of the bus is being done in Abu Dhabi.
The Superbus project is done with the aim to save the time which is taken during the travel from Abu Dhabi and Dubai. In travelling Superbus it takes just 30 minutes but other takes about one and half an hour. Abu Dhabi Department of Transport will trail the Superbus.
The first model of the Superbus is prepared in Middle East at the UITP Mobility and City Transport Expo and it will be used for the test drive on 11th April.
UAE Government authorities have presented the electric-powered cross between a bus and a limousine as the future of public transportation for business commuters and tourists.
The Superbus is the new creation of a design team at TU Delft University of Technology in Holland. They have brought the model to the UAE after an examining initial visit. They have signed with last month's Commercial Vehicles Middle East exhibition and conference in Dubai.
