Business between China and India is strongly influenced by Singapore. Singapore is an important link between China and India for its strategic location in South-east Asia, strong economic connectivity and global positioning.
Yesterday, fourth biennial Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) international conference was organized which was attended by Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry S. Iswaran's , who believe in the theme "India- Singapore-China: Business Opportunities in the Trilateral Relationship". The conference was held at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, attended by 350 delegates from around Asia.
He also said that three countries have much scope for mutual beneficial partnerships. There are figures revealing that around 3,000 Chinese firms and more than 4,000 Indian firms are operating in Singapore.
Singapore is the link that can easily help to create flows of funds into the region, said by the founder and chairman of Spice Group, Dr Bhupendra Kumar Modi in the conference. Further he explained that people can invest in this art of the world by offering them more stocks, bonds and other financial instruments.
