Recently, Fortis Global Healthcare has purchased a hospital in Singapore for S$33 million or 115 crore from First Real Estate Investment Trust. Fortis Global Healthcare is owned by Indian billionaire brothers, Malvinder Mohan Singh and Shivinder Mohan Singh Fortis Global Healthcare is a major player in the healthcare industry.
In an interview with the Chairman of Fortis Global Health, MalvinderSingh has said that Singapore has a great industrial healthcare market and the company is looking forward to get benefited from this opportunity.
The hospital has the special cancer treatment for the patients and it is likely to be completed by the second quarter of 2012. This has been stated by the Fortis Global on Thursday.
Fortis Global is privately held by the two Singh brothers and it has been performing well. Last year during November, it had acquired Hong Kong's Quality Healthcare. And it has purchased a major stake in Dental Corp as well. Dental Corp is Australia’s largest dentistry network.
Apart from that, both the brothers are also looking forward to expand their health care network in India by providing better value proposition for their service.
