India and US have promised to end the trade dispute before Obama’s visit to India

India and US have promised to end the trade dispute before Obama’s visit to IndiaBoth India and United States of America have promised to work hand in hand for enhancing trade relations between them and they will double their efforts to solve various worrisome issues including outsourcing and visa issues. They are hell bent upon doing these before President Barack Obama comes for a visit to India in the month of November.

A joint statement was given following a meeting of Indo-US Trade Policy Forum; which was jointly chaired by Anand Sharma, the Indian Commerce and Industry Minister and Ron Kirk, US Trade Representative on Tuesday but none of them disclose the concerns of their respective side.

But Sharma had been found stating to reporters that India had expressed its concern regarding the increase in US H1B as well as professional’s L visa fees. He also pointed out that the ban on outsourcing of government contracts by the state of Ohio had a negative effect in the service sector which could have been avoided.

He further added that at a crucial juncture in time when world economy is struggling to come out of the economic crisis and recession any step involving protectionist measure would hinder the speed of recovery and make the recession worse.

He said that America is the leader and the biggest economy of the world, therefore high expectations are there from the country .He further added that hopefully the differences would be resolved very soon.

He also stated that America has taken the issue of concerns of the Indian IT industry seriously and hopefully they will respond very fast.
