Danny Boyle, Peter Weir headlining Telluride

danny boyleThe Telluride Film Festival, which starts from Friday, will be headed by Peter Weir, Danny Boyle, Mark Romanek and Errol Morris. The 37thColorado mountain fest will have festival directors Tom Luddy, Gary Meyer and Julie Huntsinger being in charge of displaying something unknown and unseen.

On Friday night, Romanek's "Never Let Me Go" will be screened. The story has been adopted from the Kazuo Ishiguro novel. Moreover, stars like Keira Knightley, Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan will be the part of this film and it will be released on 15th September in this year.

Danny Boyle, who will officially be presenting a special Sunday morning screening of his 2005 film "Millions," will also most likely show his new film "127 Hours" before it heads towards Toronto.

The movie stars James Franco as a hiker who is trapped under a boulder in Utah for several days.

Films the likes of "Juno" (2007), "Up in the Air" (2009) and "Slumdog Millionaire," which Boyle and Fox Searchlight had released in 2008, all received high-profile awards and recognition.

However, the showing of "127 Hours" or Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan" is not yet been confirmed.
