One can expect to have an iPhone in the hands of a doctor instead of a stethoscope for a regular check-up, as the latest iStethoscope is the latest buzz in field of medicinal needs.
The application though might not be very useful in case of urban regions however; in case of remote areas people seem to find the new iStethoscope application very handy.
Guardian reports that the application has been downloaded approximately by three million doctors.
Peter Bentley of the University College London, the inventor of the app wishes to make the iPhone into a stethoscope. It was earlier an app of amusement, but as of now the program comes free and is downloaded nearly 500 times per day.
Apparently, in the recent future smartphones can be aided for other medical practices such as ultrasound, scanning, et al.
It can further be stated that one need not have to search for a health expert as the availability of stethoscope is present in the phone itself.
