BlackBerry architect Research in Motion (RIM) has stated that it won't be offering the latest BlackBerry OS 6 in the yet to be released BlackPad tablet device.
According to familiar sources, Bloomberg claimed that the firm will not be employing the BlackBerry OS 6, but instated will be employing the latest software of BMW audio systems and the Crusher tank.
Bloomberg reports, RIM will make use of the software that has been developed by QNX Software Systems, which the BlackBerry manufacturer had earlier taken from Harman International Industries Inc. for $200 million in the Q1 of this year.
RIM has promised to offer the pioneering multi-touch enabled slider smartphone, BlackBerry Torch 9800, which will be based on the latest BlackBerry OS 6, in the US in the start of this month.
RIM has claimed that the QNX based OS will sync perfectly with the latest operating system that goes with targeted segment of market.
