Telecom managerial body against Net Neutrality

telecom-net-neutralityA recent poll has stated the majorly all the renowned telecom executives do not comply with the core concept of net neutrality.

News outfit The Globe and Mail has claimed via a poll have stated that close to 55 per cent of the total mobile executives want to shrug off the concept of fixed line and mobile net neutrality, hinting upon the fact that the present mobile industry is ready to levy a charge on content providers for giving them priority.

The study was done by the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, who points out a number of legal shortcomings in the present system which needs to be catered to, before discrimination between the types of data on the internet can happen.

Natasha Good, a partner with the business entity stated: "The survey responses indicate that the greater the bandwidth used by a particular app or user, that's when it would merit a different fee structure. [Traffic] prioritisation is likely to be looked at very closely by regulators."
