Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been proclaimed as the best seller in the UK. Tech Radar with respect to the figures released claimed via the online sales monitoring firm Gfk Chart-Track, Modern Warfare 2 has risen above Dr Kawashima's Brain Training on the Nintendo DS to become the best seller just in 10 months of its release.

The COD is an offering of Activision and the Modern Warfare 2 supposedly took very less time to go over Nintendo's memory test game than Dr Kawashima's Brain Training took to leap over Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Dr Kawashima's Brain Training took a stipulated time of 36 months to overtake Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Although Modern Warfare 2 has stirred enough controversy and debates that go over the board claiming it to be too 'realistic' and violent that is present throughout the game.

It was totally out of the shelves within 24 hours of its release in the UK - considered to be a record time for the established game release ever.
