Pictures of a Toshiba tablet have come up on the internet. Notebookitalia, the firm responsible for the release of pics of the yet to be released Android-based media tablet PC by Toshiba, confirms the launching details of the tablet which has not yet been stated by the official site.

Videos of the same reveal the fact that the tablet PC will be offered through an upcoming version of Android operating system, Android 3.0, which has been codenamed Gingerbread.

The tablet is considered to be a sleek silver device that comes with a memory card reader, HDMI and USB ports, touch-buttons, webcam, and speakers along the bottom corners of device.

The reports laid by the tech news site Trusted Reviews, the Japanese consumer electronics maker will soon be offering a demo of the this version of tablet device in the upcoming IFA in Berlin, Germany.

Meanwhile experts claim that the device will hit the likes of tablet based offerings such as iPad, Streak et al.
