It is believed that soon after the resignation of former CEO Mark Hurd, Hewlett-Packard might bring in Marc Andreessen of Netscape to head the company.
Soon after Hurd was found guilty of falsified expense claims to put the alleged affair with marketing consultant and former actress Jodie Fisher under wraps and was thus forced to resign from his position.
It has been said that the scandal was a costly affair that accounted to a loss of $10 billion as share prices went down in the market.
According to few of the analysts, Marc Andreessen is the rightful CEO of the company until a suitable replacement is found, this refutes the notion of removing the authority from previously looked out for CFO Cathie Lesjak.
Through a blog post it was noted: "Andreessen as an interim CEO is not such a preposterous idea - his investments in hot companies such as Zynga, Foursquare, Skype and Facebook gives them a whole lot of cachet both in Silicon Valley and on the Wall Street.
