Samsung aims to release the Galaxy player which will stand tall against Apple's iPod Touch. It is also said that the current media player will be running on Samsung Galaxy S and the Galaxy Tab.
Pictures released by Samsung Hub revealed that the YP-MB2, also termed as Galaxy S, gains strong similarity with Apple iPod Touch, and has same components such as the Samsung PMP.
A report from company official states that the device comes with Android based OS, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3-megapixel camera et al.
The Galaxy player makes sense with regard to Samsung competition with Apple devices a feature that is more logical, given that Samsung offers most of the important components present in the three Apple devices.
Samsung also has another media player YP-R1 that comes with a 2.6-inch 8GB PMP and is priced at £100.
