Samsung soon to release Galaxy Player

Samsung soon to release Galaxy PlayerSamsung aims to release the Galaxy player which will stand tall against Apple's iPod Touch. It is also said that the current media player will be running on Samsung Galaxy S and the Galaxy Tab.

Pictures released by Samsung Hub revealed that the YP-MB2, also termed as Galaxy S, gains strong similarity with Apple iPod Touch, and has same components such as the Samsung PMP.

A report from company official states that the device comes with Android based OS, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3-megapixel camera et al.

The Galaxy player makes sense with regard to Samsung competition with Apple devices a feature that is more logical, given that Samsung offers most of the important components present in the three Apple devices.

Samsung also has another media player YP-R1 that comes with a 2.6-inch 8GB PMP and is priced at £100.
