Hewlett Packard's board defended Murk V Hurd even after he was accused of creating sexual harassment to a former actress of erotic films.

They always discussed with the CEO praising him for his innovation in taking the technology giant back to its genesis after the acquisition of Palm and 3Com. They expressed their doubts regarding unscrupulous acts done by Hurd whom they considered of having integrity as stated by people who are aware of the board's thinking.

The directors thought the act of settling the harassment complaint by Mr. Hurd with actress troubling, as they did not get a chance to speak with the actress before the settlement.

The board then hurried to get Hurd resigned from the post of CEO the very next day of August 6. After the incident a stream of leaks from both sides came into the open resulting in a public embarrassment.

The drama between the company and its resigned CEO continues in a manner which is unusual to happen in executive departures of its like.

HP has revealed interactions that happened between Jodie Fisher and the CEO. Jodie Fisher had accused Mr. Hurd of sexual harassment.
