Microsoft asks Hotmail users to browse with ChromeMicrosoft has asked its users to use Google's Chrome to log in to their Hotmail accounts. The recent release from Microsoft claimed for its Hotmail e-mail service has defect in composing new messages if logged through other browsers.

Microsoft has asked users not to log in their Hotmail accounts through Firefox 2 and Safari 3 web browsers.

Instead, Microsoft claims that the e-mail service works best with Internet Explorer 6. x, 7. x and 8. x, in addition to the latest versions of Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. Microsoft’s representative for the matter stated: “During the Windows Live Hotmail rollout, we discovered some customers are having issues. We are working quickly to resolve these issues and apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing our customers.”

The firm has claimed of various recommendations that users need to follow in order to help access their Hotmail e-mail accounts in order to go ahead with any issues and has advised users to look in to Windows Live Solution Center in order to detect the exact issue and root it out.
