According to a study report, the Premier League football clubs have made a world record deal of 100 million euros for the shirt sponsorship for the upcoming soccer season. The report from a Sporting Intelligence says that the total value of deals of the top 20 clubs has been recorded at 99.75 million euros in this season which is up from 71.8 million euros of the last season.
The previous record was made by the Bundesliga of Germany in the last season.
This rise in the value of deals was possible by the huge deals made by the individual clubs. The contract of 20 million euros per year for Liverpool with the Standard Chartered is more than double of its previous agreement with Carlsberg.
On the other hand, the fresh deal worth 20 million euros per season of Manchester United with the firm Aon has replaced the club's previous deal of 14 million euros with the AIG.
Tottenham Hotspur has agreed to a deal worth 10 million euros per year with Autonomy in the last month and now the firm is looking for the deal to sponsor shirts for team in each and every competition they play in.
