Facebook has condemned the Google-Verizon deal over Net neutrality, as one of the key component of disapproval in the deal.
Facebook also a member of the Open Internet Coalition group with Google has claimed that it is not in favor or support of the pact agreed amidst Google and Verizon.
Andrew Noyes, a representative for Facebook in lieu of net neutrality for both landline and wireless broadband connections, said: "Preserving an open Internet that is accessible to innovators -- regardless of their size or wealth -- will promote a vibrant and competitive marketplace where consumers have ultimate control over the content and services delivered through their Internet connections."
Julius Genachowski, chairman of the FCC, adds that US is way behind many developed nations in regard of the Internet accessibility, which clearly indicates that a thorough intervention has been laid by the government to improvise the subjects over web access.
