IBM has pronounced the release of new cloud computing data centre in Ehningen, Germany, claims a report.
It was further added that the centre has been opened to meet the demands for IBM's cloud services in Europe.
It was IBM representative who told to ZD Net that the latest German data centre will help in company's facilities in Raleigh, North Carolina, aiding to serve clients across the world.
It was general manager, Global Technology Services, IBM Germany, Michael Diemer who stated: "The opening of this centre places IBM in a strong position to meet the growing demand for cloud solutions and services in the market."
The new facility has been aimed to cater to offer a wide range of cloud-based products, providing access to services such as the IBM Smart Business Desktop Cloud, IBM Smart Business Desktop on the IBM Cloud and IBM Smart Business Development and Test on the IBM Cloud.
It was also stated that the company is working jointly with a range of partner organizations to offer state-of-the-art software development, security, cloud management and software testing services to its clients.
