Industry watchers have highlighted that more companies have announced to make use of its Web printing services as they come online; thereby nudging the print industry forward.
Lee Lee Ken, the General Manager of Enterprise Sales and Services, Printing Solutions and Services at Lexmark Asia-Pacific, posted that more firms will land their documents in the cloud, so that employees can access this information as they require.
"Printing in the cloud offers unprecedented scalability of businesses of any size", Lee Lee Ken added in her e-mail to ZDNet Asia.
The system, named "cloud-enabled paradigm", aims to offer high-quality printers and podium to publish resources via the public cloud, to those having an internet connection.
Lexmark's rival, Canon, is also witnessed to affirm its zeal for Web-enabled print-anywhere services.
Lim Kok Hin, Senior Director and General Manager of Canon Singapore's Business Imaging Solutions and Business Solution Division, claimed that these services are an innovative service that can be used to give birth to myriad form of possibilities based on the customers' requirements.
He also outlined that the utilization of cloud services worldwide will soon mark an increase considering trends in information technology and business environment.
