Vuvuzela has become a synonym for controversy in the ongoing FIFA 2010. In case of other countries such as Spain, they beat drums and others let off flares, contributing towards the diversity that makes the sport interesting. BBC claims to have received around six hundred complaints over the sound produced by the Vuvuzela, since the beginning of the World Cup. The Vuvuzela is a flat-horn that produces a sound that resembles like a nest of angry bees. This apparently causes a distraction for the players and with the piles of complaint increasing it appears that the technology will assist in cutting the sound without completely ruining the whole experience. The representative from at the BBC, are considering to take the ultimate step to help viewers to select options for the same. However, still work is being done to curb the sound and as of now no plans have come up to ban the Vuvuzela which means Vuvuzela is here to stay as the FIFA governing body has stated it will not ban the horns.
