Vodafone and Virgin Media confirm the availability of Samsung Wave smartphone via their channels.
It comes for free - on - contract scheme which sets individual plans for each provider.
In case of Vodafone consumers needs to shell out a minimum of £24 per month for 300 free minutes, with unlimited texts and 500 MB of data usage for all the Virgin Media consumers the same plan is available the only difference being an additional 600 free minutes.
The phone that features a 5 mega pixel camera, 1 Ghz processor and a 3.3-inch HD AMOLED screen is also loaded with Social Hub, a centralized social networking platform similar to Motorola's MOTOBLUR.
It runs on Samsung's proprietary Bada mobile phone OS platform and stands against the likes of Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows 7 Mobile OS.
However the trade experts advise to format the memory card before plugging it in their PCs.
