It has been reported that the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus have now been made available in O2 in the UK.
The revised and improved version of the previous Pre, Palm Pre Plus, is now without the navigation button, replacing it with a touch sensitive area.
The keyboard has been updated as there is a good spacing between the buttons.
Also the sliding system has been made more strong and attractive, and the screen of the phone is 3.1 inch. This version has added the term plus as it has a double storage memory of 16GB as compared to the earlier one.
With the Pre Plus costing £99, the phones are available from O2 on 18 month contract from £30 per month. It gives 100 minutes, unlimited text messages and internet. For Pixi Plus, it is available free on all contracts, with Pre Plus from £40 every month.
The memory has been increased to 16GB. Also the speed of the phone has improved a little. With a 3.15 megapixel camera, Pre Plus has flash and video recording. The new version also has Wi-Fi and GPS.
On the other hand, Pixi Plus is quite similar to normal Pixi. It is a stylish one with a full QWERTY keypad and is also touchscreen. This phone is not a slider, but a standard bar style device. It is the thinnest version of Palm.
The Pixi Plus has a 2 megapixel camera with flash and video recording, Wi-Fi and GPS. It is loaded with memory of 8GB. Both phones function on the Palm's WebOS operating system.
