A strong demand has led to an increase in flights by Firefly to its Ipoh-Singapore route from 1st September.

Via a statement, it was forwarded by Firefly marketing and communications head, Angelina Fernandez, that the flight frequency would be increased by carrier from four times a week to once a day.

She added that the carrier is optimistic that more travel and growth prospects between Ipoh and Singapore will be stimulated by the additional flights.

The cost for a one-way ticket starts at RM88, with travel time being about one hour and 20 minutes.

Ms. Fernandez concluded, "We are confident that these new flights will serve to stimulate more travel and growth prospects between Ipoh and Singapore."
