According to reports, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Managing Director, E Sreedharan, might get discharged from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital by Friday.
77-year-old Sreedharan, who underwent a six-hour cardiac bypass heart surgery last week is recuperating very well, doctors looking after him said today. But he may stay away from work for a few more weeks.
Doctors have advised the Metro Man to take "complete rest" for minimum 6-8 weeks before he recommences his job.
A senior doctor, who was part of the medical team that executed the surgery, told PTI that he is doing better and is fine now. From the day the surgery was executed, his condition has been stable and he is convalescing very well. He has been put under the observation of a multidisciplinary group of doctors for another two-three days.
