Cancer which is the most dreadful disease is making the researcher work hard day and night in order to produce some treatment for it. They aim to produce something which is permanent in nature and can kill the disease from its roots.
Still the world is being hopeful of some miracle and to meet the expectations of the people, few researchers have announced that they have been successful in finding a way to fight with cancer. They have developed a remedy for the skin cancer.
Tumor cells are attacked by the vaccine which is presently being tested in the United Kingdom; it aims to not harm the healthy cells and smoothly transports the agents, which increases the body’s response towards skin cancer. The name of the vaccine is “OncoVEX”.
BioVex, the producer of the vaccine is initiating recruitment of approximately 400 patients to carry on with the final phase of the clinical trial.
Dr Howard Kaufman, of Chicago's Rush University Medical Center, said, "Our study shows we may have a cure for some advanced melanoma patients and a drug which has real benefits for others. This will save thousands of lives a year."
