It is reported that the formal Nepal Prime Minister and Nepali congress President Girija Prasad Koirala's health condition deteriorated again this morning, and now he is in a coma.
According to Kantipur doctors, Koirala has again suffered from respiratory problems and is currently put on artificial respiration.
According to Dr Arjun Karki, who is involved in Koirala's treatment, reveals that he is in a critical position after he fell unconscious this morning.
"Antibiotics are being administered to control the infection in his lungs", he added.
Koirala, being a chronic patient of pulmonary diseases, has been suffering from chest and urinary tract infection recently. He was bedridden for months.
Also, it is revealed that special arrangements have been made at his daughter Sujata's residence in Mandikatar for his treatment.
UCPN (Maoist) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who went to see him, revealed that Koirala had stopped responding to his visitors.
In the meanwhile, the Nepali Congress has reportedly called an emergency meeting of its Central Working Committee at 1pm today.
