Following the consequent threat of "pulling out" from China by Google, the search engine giant, regarding hacking and censorship issues, China states that no complaints have yet been received. China assures that if proved to be involved in the matter, it is bound to punish the accused hackers.
It has been known that after several cases of hacking, that were found to be planned and executed in China following investigations, Google had decided that it will no more censor the search results that came from China.
Google had also decided to pull out operations from the country, which can result in a threat for China as it has got 384 million users, making it the largest community online.
Google had never filed a report over the cyber attacks or sought negotiations; Vice Minister Miao Wei said that Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has not been informed regarding the withdrawal and the cyber hacking which is resulting in such harsh decisions by Google.
Miao said, "If Google has had evidence that the attacks came from China, the Chinese government will welcome them to provide the information and will severely punish the offenders according to the law.
If the company chooses to withdraw from the Chinese market, it must go through certain procedures according to the law and regulations and deal with customers' problems that may arise".
