In what apparently is part of Twitter's strategic move to expand its business around the world, the popular micro-blogging site said in a Thursday announcement that it has refined its technology so as to selectively `censor' messages on a country-by-country basis, rather than on a global basis.

On Thursday, popular social network Facebook commenced the rollout of its new “Listen With Friends” feature, which will give a notable boost to the Facebook users’ social experience of listening to music online.

With police authorities claiming that popular social networking sites - like Facebook and Twitter - are apparently being monitored by burglars to find out when the users make a mention of their plans for holiday activities, it is being advised that the users of social media sites should refrain from disclosing their whereabouts during the holiday season this year.

According to reports, social networking giant Facebook is trading lawsuits with `Zuckerberg II', the Israeli social-media entrepreneur, Rotem Guez, who legally changed his name to Mark Zuckerberg on December 7.

Around 20 years back, the pager used to be the sole mobile communication instrument.

It has been confessed by social networking giant Facebook that a PR agency was hired by it for planting negative rumors about Google in the media. It has however denied that the thing was a smear campaign, adding that it felt things should have been done differently by them.
