TCS delivered results in line with estimates in the fourth quarter
Fourth quarter of Technology major TCS posted rise of 3% in profits, revenues rise by 5% to over Rs 10,150 crore. All the results are in line with expectations except operating margins which was marginally lower.
JP Morgan 'overweight' on TCS
Watching TCS’s growth in revenue and rise in profits for the fourth quarter, JP Morgan maintained the overweight rating on Tata Consultancy Services. Price target and earnings per share estimates for Technology major of Asia has been raised by brokerage house. JP Morgan forecasted TCS’s FY12 earning per share at Rs 54 and FY13 EPS at Rs 64.8.
Indian Bank gives an 85 cr. deal to TCS
Indian bank has awarded an 85 crore deal to Tata Consultancy Services for implementing a financial inclusion solution which will enable the bank for offering banking services to rural India’s 5500 villages, and will be based on smart card and cloud computing technologies.
