After having introduced the DSC-W610, DSC-W620, and DSC-W650 entry-level cameras earlier this month at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Sony has now announced three new Cyber-shot point-and-shoot camera models – the DSC-WX50; the DSC-WX70; and the DSC-TX200V.

Close on the heels of its release of the new PlayStation Vita handheld in Japan, Sony has shifted its focus on the US launch of the console, and has recently shared information about the entire US debut of the device and its launch window lineup.

Japanese electronics major Sony has announced its third quarter financial results. Company has reported a decline in its profit figure. As per the company officials, the profit of the firm in the quarter under review has gone down by 8.6 per cent. This has been reported in an announcement on Thursday.

Electronics major, Sony has claimed that it has sold more than 1 million units to retailers set in North America and Latin America in the first 30 days of its launch.

The highly anticipated Move controller for PlayStation 3 video-game console was launched on September 19 in the United States. The good initial response shows that the device has been widely accepted by PS3 users.

Sony is set to launch its new motion control device ‘Move’ for PlayStation to compete with the popular Wii in the market.

Wii, which is less powerful than both Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3, has emerged as most popular home console due to its simplicity. Sony is aiming to change that with the introduction of Move, which will incorporate better games with enhanced graphics.
