BSkyB has released the legal fight against registration of the trademark Skype claiming it to be akin to its own brand, Sky.

The firm is half owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, BSkyB which currently seeks to sought the name Skype, in the Europe, India, Norway and Brazil.
