McDonald's Corporation, a fast food chain company in US, released its results of the first quarter. The company said that the sales in the first three months of the fiscal saw a growth of 11% over the previous corresponding quarter.

McDonald's confirms about its plans to double the outlets in China in the span of 3 years by the end of 2013. The move has been taken in order to support the plans of expansions in one of the world's fastest growing economy.

In an effort to boost the employability of its relatively young workforce, McDonalds today has decided to provide for a GCSE style qualification for work experience, which is supposed to be beneficial even outside of McDonalds.
