All the companies that had been involved with the BP's oil spill are looking for ways wherein they could blame the other for the disaster. But when it comes to outside the court environment, then they are joined with each other with some or the other kind of endeavor and it is for sure that they their co-operation is going to outlive the litigation.

BP Plc is continuing its probe for a section of its drill pipe it has to remove before replacing the blowout preventer from top of the Macondo well which is five thousand feet below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico.  

Both the preventer and the drill pipe which are made up of valves for ceasing the sudden rise in pressure will be used for investigating the disastrous incident that claimed eleven lives in the world’s biggest accident that happened in the Gulf of Mexico where the BP well had exploded.   

On Monday Gov Bobby Jindal’s office reported that the Oil major BP PLC is shelling out fifteen million dollars to the health department of the state of Louisiana to treat people suffering from anxiety and stress caused by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.  

The governor’s office stated that the money will be spent on counseling, outreach, support services medication and clinical visits.

According to reports submitted by researchers on Monday, the BP oil spill might have settled on the sea bed of Gulf of Mexico. According to them the oil had spread further east and can affect the marine life with its toxicity.  

According to the reports, the oil giant BP has failed to update the oil spill emergency plan in the Gulf of Mexico even after three months of the explosion in the deepwater horizon rig. 11 people had lost their lives in this mishap occurred on 20th April.

The oil giant BP has decided to pay 50.6 million dollars fine for the explosion at the Texas plant in the year 2005. The explosion of 2005 at the Texas refinery plant had killed 15 people and created questions over the safety measures of BP at its plants.
