Putting to rest the rumors making rounds about the possibility of a delay in the release of Asus' Transformer prime tablet, the company has reportedly stated that everything is on track, and that the device will be released `on schedule.'

With world going crazy about the 3D technology the latest to launch this technology in its products is the Taiwanese hardware manufacturer- Asus. The company today unveiled its 23-inch Full HD Monitor named ASUS VG236H.

The monitor is not only 3D enabled but also has a quick response time. It is largely because of refresh rate of 2ms and120Hz respectively.

Asus has announced about its 12.1-inch netbooks. The ASUS-Lamborghini VX6 will have Intel’s upcoming Atom D525 processor which features a clock speed of 1.8GHz and support for DDR3 memory.

Apple iPad finally has a competitor, with Asus announcing the launch of its Eee Pad. The flagship EP121 Eee Pad features a 12-inch screen and houses a dual-core CULV Intel CPU whirring away under its hood. Also, it would run Windows 7 and support Adobe Flash. However, the features that make the Eee Pad much more versatile include connections for USB and HDMI and an SD slot.

The latest report out of the Far East reported that Asustek Computer will unveil an Nvidia Ion 2-powered Eee PC in April 2010, along with a line up of netbooks through the year.

Asustek currently tags its Atom N270-based Eee PCs to be placed in the NT$10,000 (US$313) segment. While, the company's N280 model is positioned for NT$13,000, and N450 models for NT$14,000-16,000.

As has been confirmed by the company, Asus is all set to release a range of three electronic readers before the next year rolls in, including an OLED color-screen model, a development which has made the technology firm to be the newest one to jump onto the e-reader bandwagon.

The OLED model will be released as the DR-570, and will be equipped with a 5.7 inch screen offering "high-brightness" color display. It will also support Flash videos and internet connectivity.

In a new development which is all set to make ASUS's Eee computers much better equipped to play back online content and videos smoothly, the company has announced that most of its popular netbooks and nettops, including the Eee 1201N, EeeTop ET2002T, EeeBox EB1012 and AT3N7A-I mini-ITX, among others, will now include NVIDIA Ion Graphics.
