However, the features that make the Eee Pad much more versatile include connections for USB and HDMI and an SD slot.

Asustek to Unveil its Nvidia Ion 2-based Eee PC in AprilThe latest report out of the Far East reported that Asustek Computer will unveil an Nvidia Ion 2-powered Eee PC in April 2010, along with a line up of netbooks through the year.

Asustek currently tags its Atom N270-based Eee PCs to be placed in the NT$10,000 (US$313) segment. While, the company's N280 model is positioned for NT$13,000, and N450 models for NT$14,000-16,000.

Asus All Set to Join the E-Readers Bandwagon

AsusAs has been confirmed by the company, Asus is all set to release a range of three electronic readers before the next year rolls in, including an OLED color-screen model, a development which has made the technology firm to be the newest one to jump onto the e-reader bandwagon.

The OLED model will be released as the DR-570, and will be equipped with a 5.7 inch screen offering "high-brightness" color display. It will also support Flash videos and internet connectivity.

In a new development which is all set to make ASUS's Eee computers much better equipped to play back online content and videos smoothly, the company has announced that most of its popular netbooks and nettops, including the Eee 1201N, EeeTop ET2002T, EeeBox EB1012 and AT3N7A-I mini-ITX, among others, will now include NVIDIA Ion Graphics.
