Two Websites Blocked from Selling Beatles Songs
A ruling by a Federal judge has temporarily stopped two online music sharing sites from selling songs by the Beatles, among other artists, for 25 cents per song. On Thursday, U.S. District Judge John F. Walter, ruled that BlueBeat.com and Basebeat.com should stop selling copyrighted songs from various artists.
The ruling has come as a result of a suit filed by the EMI Music Group stating that the sites were selling copyrighted songs.
Disney Park in Shanghai awaits final approval from Chinese Government
The much awaited multi-billion dollar Disney theme park in Shanghai is soon expected to receive a green signal from the Chinese government, a report said on Monday.
Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng informed media that there would be an announcement later this week, but did not confirm the final approval of the plan. He said,” What I can say at this moment is that we will hold a press conference to announce the details of the project in the near future".
